The WX Map LED (light emitting diode) is how your weather data is displayed. These LED boards are designed to be chained together and are individually addressable via the WX Map application. You will need 1 LED per airport you wish you display on your map.
The airports you wish to display will be determined by the area you will be displaying and the data provided by those airports.
For help in determining which airports you can display please read our Assembly Guide.
The LED is a “neopixel” (WS2812C).
The input/output connectors are 3 pin 2.54mm male header pins.
They are connected together with standard “Dupont” jumper wires (10cm wire included).
